We are seeking enthusiastic, inclusive and person-centred colleagues who are looking to work in an exciting and developing service delivering traded and statutory work. The Psychology and Therapeutic Services Team are placed within the Children and Young People's Directorate (CYP) of Suffolk County Council (SCC).
Psychologists in our service offer a wide range of core statutory, internally commissioned and traded innovative Educational Psychologist work.
You will be a highly skilled professional who:
- has an outcome and solution-oriented approach to their work
- is pro-active in developing inclusive, person-centred / strengths-based approaches that enhance confidence, emotional wellbeing and supports children and young people to flourish.
- has enthusiasm for developing and delivering therapeutic approaches
- has a strong commitment to delivering consultation in order to reach collaborative solutions and bring new perspectives
- is confident in using online tools and aware of digital technologies.

Travelling requirements for your role
This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role, you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
You will be based in one of the area teams whilst working collaboratively with other colleagues as part of the county service.
