Required to start as soon as possible, we are seeking to welcome an additional member to our caring team, to work with children initially within EYFS and KS1 but from across the primary age range, providing class based support to teaching staff. You will be allocated a role within a phase group and will become integral members of the team.
This position requires you to compliment the teachers’ implementation of the national and schools own policies and strategies. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and provide PPA cover and release. Also, to supervise whole classes occasionally during the short term absence of teachers.
This position requires the successful applicant(s) to work with pupils on a one to one or small group basis, carrying out activities and tasks planned within our exciting curriculum offer. The applicant(s) will also be supporting children’s social and emotional development in implementing personalised programmes providing pastoral care, guidance and supervision.
