We at Stoke High School place high priority on ensuring our pupils are safe, healthy and happy. This newly created post will be part of a pastoral team led by the Assistant Principal and be a dedicated member of the staff to ensure that safeguarding issues are dealt with when they arise, as well as facilitate promotion of student wellbeing.
As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will have experience of working with children and safeguarding requirements of the school. You will endeavor to build trusting relationships with both parents and children to ensure that they get appropriate help and support that they need.
You must also have experience of working with vulnerable families and understanding of how outside agencies can assist in the safeguarding of children.
This is a key role within our school, and you will need to be resilient, empathetic, supportive and motivated, with intent to achieve best outcomes for the vulnerable children.
