This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new special school, part of the Unity Schools Partnership multi-academy trust, which opened in September 2020. 

At this exciting time for the school, we are looking for individuals with a passion for SEN to join our team and make an impact on the learning of our students. You will need to be able to work flexibly, have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to assist pupils on a one to one basis as well as in small groups and whole class settings.

Sir Bobby Robson School educates young people between the ages of 8-16 who have a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Many of the pupils are also on the autistic spectrum. The school serves a catchment area that covers Ipswich and surrounding areas of Suffolk.

The school is part of a collaborative, forward thinking academy trust of 30 schools. Sir Bobby Robson School is part of the trust’s network of special schools, alongside The Bridge School, Ipswich and Churchill Special School, Haverhill. In addition to this, we have been approved to open a new special school in Romford.
