Payment will be on the basis of £10.00 per day to be paid for the week you are on call.  You will then be paid £50.00 for the first hour you are called out and an hourly rate of £10.84 after that.

Suffolk County Council are looking to recruit self driven, flexible and emotionally resilient individuals to support the Emergency Bed within a Children’s Home in Suffolk, we have 10 positions available.

The emergency bed is an important resource that is used in times of crisis. Children from many backgrounds may use this service. However, it is predominantly used in times of family/placement breakdown.

You will be an integral part of the Children's Home team that ensures every child and young person who walks through our doors feels welcome, cared for, safe and happy.

This role is rota based Monday to Friday on an on call basis (including bank holidays) but there may be an opportunity to do weekends if the need arises, you will be required to respond within 1 hour of being called and you will hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
