Required from 1 September 2021, an enthusiastic, experienced and caring teacher to teach in Lower Key Stage 2.

Both upper pay scale and main scale teachers are welcome to apply.

Clifford Road Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, compassionate and innovative teacher to join our experienced team.

We require an excellent practitioner, with experience of teaching within this age group, who is also nurturing and empathetic to work with us to support and complement our school family. We offer you the opportunity to teach in a school with a ‘truly inspiring curriculum’ (Ofsted, 2019) taught within an environment where pupils feel safe and secure and with mutual respect.

As a class teacher you will deliver the school’s Recovery Curriculum, which ensures children’s experiences remain broad and enriched, and their mental wellbeing remains a priority. Our staff work collaboratively: you will have the privilege of working closely with experienced colleagues in your phase team and with other members of staff across the school to develop exciting and innovative approaches.

Staff well-being is incredibly important to us as a school and we are proud of the way we are mutually supportive of one another.

Roll: 450

Before making an application, we highly recommend you visit (subject to COVID guidelines) our school for a personal tour with the Head teacher, Steve Wood. To arrange this, please contact Julie Steggle on (01473) 251605 or via email: j.steggle@cliffordroad.suffolk.sch.uk

An application pack is available in the related information section.

Please return completed applications to the school.

Interview date: w/c 17 May 2021.

This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks required for relevant posts. Suffolk County Council - welcoming diversity.
